Hi
I ask another big favour.
Does anyone have a painting guide showing the top view camo pattern for any typical British WW2 twin engine fighter/ fighter-bomber?
I think I'm right in saying the British had standard patterns for different aircraft types...e.g. Fighter A scheme/ B scheme etc.

I would be most grateful for any help.

I'm working on a little surprise for the Chapter 13....its not Luft 46.

Cheers
Peter

Hi Peter

I'll scan the official Air Min patterns and e-mail them to you.

All the best

Hi Peter

For camo schemes I recommend the site of "Don Color" Jens Popp. He also has his own acrylic colour line which is pretty good:

http://www.jpsmodell.de/main_e.htm

Go to "by county" and you get color chips

Go to "by a/c type" and you get 4 side drawings. Strangely many links seem to be broken (as most british) ... maybe the royalty issues or still the trouble he had last year because of the German national insignias on the drawings

here is an example:

cheers

Many thanks Carlos...

Absolutely brilliant.
And a big thank you to Rowan too.
Between the two of you I have some superb refs.

All grist to the mill...

The results of what I'm using all these refs for will be revealed, I hope, in Chapter 13 of Luft 46 Colours...

Again sincere thanks to both of you....

Cheers
