Hi all, I was in my LHS when I saw the above mentioned kit for £9.00 knocked down from £20 Its a Mk1 and I was wondering if its worth an investment.

Hi Easy-Co:

The other day I saw that kit in my local hobbie shop and I like it. It looks very nice with fine detail. I think it has something to do with the Hasegawa Mv b in 1/32. The fuselage has raised panel lines and the wings recesed panel lines as the Hasegawa kit.

I will buy one for me one of these days.

Hi John,
If it is kit No.5516 Spitfire MkI/II, it is meant to be a combination of old Hasegawa MkVb fuselage and new revell wings. Hense the raised panel lines on the fuselage and engraved on the wings. At least that's what I've read in various reviews.
It looks like you'd better get back to that model shop and buy as many as you can at that price!
