Okay Spitfire experts, I need a little help. I just bought revell's (ex-hasegawa) Spitfire mk.IX to build as a little airplane-before-christmas kind of project. The instructions are classic Revell, having only revell paints mentioned.

What vallejo colors should I use? Both decal options in the kit have the same paint scheme of green and grey upper uppersides with light grey belly.
Vallejo's conversion chart only has a small number of revell colors listed and only the underside light grey has an equivalent in Vallejo range (108).
What do you recommend?

Also, what Vallejo color is the best match for the interior green? That's not absolutely necessary, though, I can use Humbroll's 78. But to be able to paint the camouflage with Vallejo would be nice.

Eetu,
I can't help with vallejo colours but I can give you the proper names:
Dark Green Ocean Grey for the uppersurfaces and Medium Sea Grey for the undersurfaces.
