G'day folk's,

My Beaufighter has finally been finished as a 30 Sqn RAAF 'Pacific Region' bird, this model was entered in the Modified catagory of the recent Melbourne Model Expo, it was never judged as part of the entries, but this model won Best of Show' for an RAAF subject.

To those who commented on the progress of this bird, thankyou for your kind words.

Rob.

Hi Rob

That really has turned out a cracker! It reminds me I must dig out those Aussie paint matches you gave me ages back and tackle the Kiwi Wings Boomerang...

All the best

Bonjour robert!

Great looking Beaufighter you have here! I specially like the way the engines look on the final picture! Very impressive! Bravo for your award!

Looks superb Robert, I'm particularly interested in how you achieved the look of the copper exhaust collector rings on the engines, as I'm trying to figure a way to do the one on the Gavia Lysander.

Hi Rob,

Great, the way you removed the paint--looks like some shots I've seen of these planes after banging around the Owen Stanleys!

I've always wanted to do a Beaufighter. I've actually had the kit in my hands a couple of times. Your outstanding model may just move me to do one.
Outstanding work Rob!
