Hi all,

Here's my most ambitious model ever (so far!), a 100Sqn Lancaster B.III.
My grandfather was a Flight Engineer on 100Sqn around the time this aircraft was in service. He doesn't have his log book for all that period, but I know he left 100Sqn for 166 Sqn in Sept 1943, and the decals for this aircraft date it to November 1943. Looking at the noseart she has completed plenty of ops, so I'm sure she must have been at the base when he was, although I'm not certain he flew in her.

I hope you like the pic, and the others of this model in my gallery.

PS: There are bonus points to those who can say where the title of the diorama comes from!

Are these close enough?

There's quite a few other pics of her in my gallery.
