I think the concept and general details of the Aerobonus seated pilots is great however I wish someone at the company would get a grip of whoever sculpts the 'pin heads' on them. The 1/32 pilots are almost there but their 1/48 stuff looks like a 1/72 head balancing on the shoulders. Bone domes are quite large - especially USAF & Soviet 1970/80 era ones - and yet the heads seem to be scaled wearing them as though they were bareheaded or wearing just a skull cap.I have heard the same from many others with whom I speak with on this matter too.

I buy these figs and substitute their heads for 'Master Detail' 1/32 heads which significantly improve the look and bring them more into scale. In 1/48, the old Hasegawa jet pilots heads (for USAF 70/80's stuff) still stand the test of time on their resin figures.
