ICM Holding have sent in the box art work and some CAD pictures of their future 1/48th release of the WWII Soviet Fighter the I-16 type 24.

The box shows a type 24, but the CAD pictures are of a cannon armed type 28...

Great news. I imagine this is just the start of an extended series of I-16s, so the CAD views will tally in due course. I'll definitely be buying a few of these.

I'm afraid that in terms of accuracy it'll be in the same league that their I-153 .
