I've been looking at all his 1/32 between the wars kits, as each offering looks better then the last. Honestly, the only reason I haven't bought any yet, is my worry about building a resin kit.

I'm with Joel. Biiplanes scare me and resin kits scare me.

Dip your toes in resin with this one! Not to much rigging involved!

Joel,
You should really give resin a try. I've been building resin for years, and it's really not all that different from plastic, other than you use a different glue, and in older kits, you may need to take some precautions in sanding. I wrote a feature article for Internet Modeler on building the CMR Short S-23 seaplane back in 2008. It describes some techniques:

http://www.internetmodeler.com/scalemodels/aviation/Czechmaster_Resin_1_72_Short_S-23.php

That was a bit of a bear of a build due to some warped parts, but overall not bad. The new 1/32 scale offerings from Montex, Silver Wings and Lukgraph are so much better. I've built a couple of Montex kits for customers, and have the Silver Wings P6E in my stash those are great kits packed with so much detail. The P6E only has one small pour stub at the tail to be removed, almost everything else is ready to glue together, just like a plastic kit. (Some small stuff on pour blocks is easily to remove with a Micro-Mark saw blade chucked in a Dremel tool). Take the plunge, I don't think you'll be disappointed! Tell you what, you do some resin kits and I'll learn to use photobucket!
