Glen Coleman has sent us details of the colour schemes and finished box-art for Kitty Hawk's imminent P-39 Q/N Airacobra. The kit will contain decals for 5 aircraft.

I do like the Soviet yellow 93 markings. I don't have anything in 1/32 scale in Soviet markings so that looks like a great start

I'm sure there will be US decals released soon for the plane. But this aircraft was at least as important to the Soviets as it was for us.

Hi Flypaper

According to MMP, Soviets used roughly 1/2 the P-38Ns and 3/4 of the 'Qs built, so a couple of decal options seems only fair. I just wish they'd also included a 4-bladed Aeroproducts prop for the numerous P-39Qs that featured it before production reverted back to the classic 3-bladed.

As Bill says, there's bound to be plenty of aftermarket options on the tail of this release.
