Sometimes an aircraft type does not get preserved despite how deserving it is. Such is the case with the Hotspur glider. While it never saw active combat service in the role it was designed for, still it performed vitally important training work which prepared the members of the Glider Pilot Regiment for their tasks in the great air assaults in the invasion of Europe.

Today our virtual tour of the Museum of Army Flying takes us to the Hotspur replica and reminds us all of the Frog/Novo kits which may be lurking somewhere in the depths of the stash.
