Beautiful paintwork!

It is a pity that these airfix kits have such deep panellines, but yours is an example that one can make beautiful models of relatively cheap models.

Thank you Jelger. Panel lines are deep indeed, but that wasn't bothering for me - And I must say, very useful to keep the oil wash in the lines...

Nicely done Daniel,
Good all round weathering, particularly like the chipped effect at the wing root

Beautiful Spit - really like the faded/weathered finish. Reminds me of the used looking Spits in the BOB movie ....

cheers

Daniel,
A very nicely done and finished 1/72 scale Spitfire Mk11. Your painting and weathering is near on perfect.

I do agree with Jeglar that the kit panels lines are to deep & pronounced for this scale, which is something that is very difficult to correct. A aircraft viewed from 72 ft. away would have panel lines that are almost invisible. Your decision to use a dark brown pin wash rather then the more traditional black pin wash, helps to correct that issue. Perhaps, even a lighter shade of brown would helped that much more.

Still, a very well build and finished model.
