The Guardian would never have been seen on a WW2 flattop either as it didn't even fly until after the war..

When you get the Hind, scroll down for the real deal. It's just a header.

I suspect the Guardian did fly off of WWII carriers, just not during WWII. We kept many of those carriers in service till the 70's and 80's.
