Hello Folks
This model is not my usuall subject, but being in some modeling crisis recently i pull different things from my stash and that is one of them.
It is a very simple model, but on the other hand with a bit of attention and AM parts it can be done into a very nice and detail piece. I am already thinking about another one.
I had few problems with it, especially canopy and because i usually build modern armor i wasn't sure about painting, weathering etc

Well enough talking, please judge:

Looks very nice. I got this kit (earlier edition with Desert Storm decals) from a friend and my boy wants to build it with me. I hope it turns out as well as yours.

Very nice Adam! I too have the older kit in my collection, and I was wondering how long it took you to build yours?

Well, because i wasn't really rushing with it it was on and off for let's say 1 month.
There is a bit of filling and sanding, but nothing major.
If you don't go for the option with AM parts it is a pretty easy kit with not many parts.
One thing will cause trouble, canopy doesn't fit very well, so i think that leaving it open from both sides will make your life a bit easier.

Agree with all, definitely a great build. The paint and weathering looks like the real ones I saw, especially the exhaust staining on the tail boom. Now that you have the painting and weathering down will we see a second helicopter built soon…or maybe a modern jet?

Happy Modeling,
Joe

Very good, I will definitely leave the canopy open. I have a bit of PE for mine, so that will probably double my build time. Again, very nice build Adam
