Hi all,

I'm currently building this very nice model. The detail is very, very nice for a £15 kit and the canopy is crystal clear.

I've added some wires etc to the cockpit. Now I have a bad habit of just painting everything the same colour so I'm experimenting a bit here. I have no concept of tones such as Mauve, taupe, lavender etc so I find shading difficult. I'm not colour blind, just ham-fisted.

My question is... Should I paint the wires green or black which will hide them a bit or leave it colourful?

Hmmmm. The seatbelt decals look a bit cartoony don't they? I'll see how they look with the canopy on.

Nice work so far on your subject.

I have the same kit in the stash that one day I'll get around to completing.

No, it can't be fixed. But you could contact Revell of Germany over the internet and inquire about a replacement part. Usually they are very good about providing replacement parts.
