Hi Steffen

It looks great with the wingtip missiles. Any nasty marks to clean up after losing the pylons?

All the best

Hi Rowan

cleanup was pretty easy as I used a Trytool(Hasegawa) PE Saw for cutting. I already sprayed it. I might have gone a bit too far with the new wash and thus might have to do some touch ups .. but it does not look bad on the photo (a new flat cote is still todo)..

(it is done under a photo lamp, but it is still artificial lighting...)

all the best

Hi Steffen

Very good. I was expecting far more damage.

Thanks for the build, Steffen - it looks great and it inspired me to actually get around to buying one of these now that they are FINALLY available in the local hobby shop here in Texas.

I'm going to have to do an aggressor aircraft though!

Steffen, nice work! Keep on building modern jets! What about your F-22? Mine lies in it's box since almost one year, two weeks ago I looked at it but some seconds later I closed the box... so much work

Many thanks, Vance!

IMO this model kit can be bought without hesitation. It builds nicely and looks like the real thing (even though it might have a few glitches here and there) ... Mike Valdez has posted some information elsewhere on this board (and others)

Hallo Thorsten

Thanks for your kind comment! I will continue with the Su-7 and the JF-17, just need to get some motivation for the decal sstuff on the latter as this is pretty advanced. I also want to proceed on the Predator drone, which is also nearly done (just need to decide about decals/version)

As for the Raptor: I hate rescribing and there is a lot to do as I closed the side weapon bays which covers were (much) too small on my testshot. I also broke the side stick from the Wolfpack cockpit set and lost it so I need to replace that part .. .thus I rather want to focus on easy projects .... Seeing your V2 makes me think that you are not much into easy stuff, are you

Thanks again and

all the best

Steffen

I like it very much Mr. Steffen

But why you didn't left the canopy open

Cheers Nick

Thanks Nick!

Well, the pit is oob - not even seat belts added - so it is better to leave it closed

Hi Steffen
Your F-5 looks fantastic and I have just ordered one. What flat coat did you use to finish off this excellent build.

Hi Tim

Many Thanks! I used Gunze Flat Clear (H20 of the Aqueous line) it is my favorite and I still have a few of the old formula stuff (not sure if of this paint already new formuly stuff exists, as my LHS still has supply of these)

all the best

Steffen
