Jean Barby (MS406C) has built his very nice 1:48 scale Hobby Boss FM-2 Wildcat kit with the addition of Vector resin correction sets, Falcon canopy and Eduard photo etched armament panels. The aircraft depicted belonged to the VC-93 assigned to the USS Petrof Bay, CVE 80, in mid 45.

Great job!
I've also seen the build report on Wing Masters' latest issue!

Very nice Jean-Luc. Good job on the finish. Wingman out.

Michael, the build is from Jean Barby and as Giacomo said, it was featured in the latest issue of Wing Masters France.

Very beautiful Wildcat there, Jean! Congratulation! I have this kit also somewhere in my pile ... In 2008 I have also built 2 Hobbyboss Wildcats, a F4F-4 and a Martlet Mk. III with Aeromaster Decals. The Wildcat kits of Hobbyboss are all very good, compared to the latest Hellcat kits ....

Happy modelling
Torsten
