Announced and present at the Nürnberg Toy Fair, the 1/32 scale Swordfish from Trumpeter should reach the shelves soon. In case you've missed it, the chinese manufacturer has published some photos of the box' content as well as pictures of a finished model on its website.

looks interesting so far ...Intruiging how they have included a clear fuselage as per Tamiyas "clear" version...Decals for different aircraft would be welcome.

Are these markings for "Ark Royal" during 'Bismark' engagements? Really stellar looking kit!

Looks like an excellent kit. I would not know were to put after having build it, but looks great and the inclusion of a clear fuselage is cool.

Thanks for the update, Jean-Luc.

Gadzooks and Hot Marimba! Look what just landed at my door.

Delivery man says he has to go get hernia operation. Evidently the Fairey Swordfish II had metal lower wings to enable the mounting of rockets, introduced in 1943.

Here is the PE & extras box

Typical instructions layout but Wow! the kit really lends itself to detail.

Anyone know of a good monograph on the Fairey Swordfish? An author's name would help too.

Hi Stephen

Warpaint Books Ltd. published a monograph on the Swordfish. It seems to be out of print now, but still available from them on CD.

All the best

Rowan
