Hasegawa have just announced a new set which could well have a lot of applications in 1/48th Scale airfield dioramas : IJA Type 97 Sidecar & Type 95 Small Sedan ''Kurogane'' 4WD (Model 3). Full detials of this (December) release, can be seen:

the biker figures look quite good. I would have preferred a two bikes set .. I must have 4 Kuroganes right now two each Hasegawa and Tamiya,

BTW if you are fast: hlj has/had this on Early Bird discount (yep .. I already ordered one )

So which manufacturer makes the best/most accurate Kurogane in 1:48?

Apparently none, recently there was a post on Track 48 forum with a comparison (pretty faar down) .. both have pros and cons and are pretty nice ... it would have been nice if one had come out as the later simpified style .. now you have two Kawaii "Mickey Mouse" cars ... here is da link
