a photo feature by Gary Boxall of a Wingnut Wings kit

The Wingnuts Wings Junkers D.1 built by Gary Boxall was mostly build out of the box. In addition to the kit parts, Gary added Gaspatch Spandau's and turnbuckles. He stated the construction was straight forward with no fit issues. The kit was finished with Tamiya acrylics and rigging with Ezi-Line.

Usual childhood of making Auirfix kits which dropped off the radar once further education was started. Picked up the scalpel again some 25 years later finding that the hobby has changed big time - but just as enjoyable.

Hi Gary Fantastic work! Sorry for being so late to the show, but at least it's proof that a great build will always shine. I'm itching to tackle this beauty myself, but current commitments mean, for once, I've really got to wait - and it's so frustrating! But I must be strong... All the best Rowan
