Fascinating, The New Mexico Museum of Space History is a portal to the beginning of America's space program, through the present. Current and retired astronauts host presentations, discuss technical topics, and even provide amusing anecdotes about one another! You will find many displays--an original Sputnik!-- and much information, a must see!

I have been here twice, and plan more visits to enjoy all that is offered. An IMAX is on the premises, a hiking trail ambles into the desert, and one has an incredible view into the valley that harbors White Sands National Monument and Holloman Air Force Base.

Treat yourself--visit this wonderful museum!
