Looks good. I like the colorful paint schemes. It should be really nice, based on their excellent MH-60L and HH-60G kits.

Hopefully a Jayhawk will come eventually.

I really want to not like this, and foolishly looked at the link...then I started looking at the colour profiles, and now I am thinking of the black bird with digital tail. I found out that this example has an MG mounted in the cabin, which Live Resin MG would be suitable to depict that, if any, please? Found it, LRE35172.

I used the Live-Resin M240Hs on my Academy MH-60S build a few years ago. They are really nice. I'm sure Kitty Hawk will include very nice M240Hs in the kit though, based on the very nice weapons in their MH-60L and HH-60G kits. Those already include the complete GAU-21 door mounts, even though they are not used on either type of aircraft.

Ok ladies, listen up: in a vain attempt to not want this kit, I did some digging around on the black and digital scheme, and I found this LINK . Only a near complete walk around of the bird itself. Sans armaments. But, to support that, there is this, LINK which depicts the bird with 8 hellfires, forward 762 mg and 50cals out back. You’re welcome.

Cheers Kylie, The Dark Knight is a great looking scheme and one I planned to do with the Academy kit, glad that Kittyhawk are going to include this. If this is anything like their MH-60L and HH-60G kits (and it should be considering how much in common they have) this will be another great kit. Andy

More pictures of a built-up Knighthawk; forthcoming from Kitty Hawk. It looks like it will come with the correct folding naval rotor system, large side flare/chaff containers, blade supports, and inlet barrier filters; very nice. A folding tail would also be nice. It should be available soon.

Thanks Gino; I really hope the Nighthawk kit is better than the Littlebirds they did, the 6M was appalling. The folding rotor is a real bonus as shelf space requirements are greatly reduced.

Their H-60 series seems to be a lot better. I have a couple, but haven't built them yet. From those who have, I haven't heard any real issues with them. The biggest issue with them so far is that the inner cabin is a little too wide to fit inside the fuselage w/out gaps at the seams if built per the instructions. Most have been able to correct it by sanding down the gunners' side walls where they meet the fuselage sides to make them fit. I plan on building them like I did the Academy Hawk kits. I glue the gunners' side walls to the fuselage sides and not the inner cabin structure so they allow the fuselage to come together completely.
