USCG Air Station Clearwater, located halfway down Flordia's Gulf Coast, claims to be the busiest Coast Guard Air Station in the USA. Their area of responsibility covers the Gulf of Mexico and much of the Caribbean. They fly Search and Rescue, Sovereignty patrolls, and assist in smuggling interdiction. Justin McCracken took these pictures of one of their hardworking MH-60J helicopters during a visit.
