Some notes about the model
This is my Fw 190 F-8. It is mainly out of the box, I just added steel tubing for the wing root guns, CMK wheels to replace the much too small Tamiya parts, Eduard seat belts and HAD decals for Egon Thiem's machine as Gruppenkommandeur of I./SG10 in Hungary February 1945.

About Steffen Arndt (alpha_tango)

Nice job Steffen! I'll remember it as inspiration for trying an 'F-8 again - my previous effort, along with Open Blitz et al was thoroughly trashed in the move away from London. All the best Rowan

I like it--a nice, clean-looking build. The pattern of the winter camo complements the lines of the plane (as does the closed canopy). It's a shame the aerial wire mechanism on the Wurger makes it complicated to leave the canopy moveable, as I'd probably do just that on my builds. Congrats, Steffen Automaton

Thanks Rowan and Automat! and of course Jean-Luc for putting the things together. I am not sure if I had a build thread or just one with the completed model. So if anyone has questions just ask here .... all the best Steffen
