Here is a soul wrenching bit of prose from my painful experience building the Battle Axe 1/32 Fokker D.VII...

Cry HAVOC! and let slip the dogs of modeling!!! Against said French creation, fortify yourselves and entreat with mercy as it sucumbs to thine prowess. Yet let it not lay dormant on thine shelf in mocking entreats, yet pull it down and remove it from its security and apply thine work! Now it is time to arm, to carve, hack and empale it on thine Xacto pike, naked and without its guarded safety disarm said battle axe. Nay, drop not thine heart into the sink of fear. From Calais to Burgundy to Orleans send the word that its has not bested thee. Years from now modelers on other websites will think themselves accursed that they not partook of our victories here. Therefore good friends strip your sleeves bare your scars and say '...these I earned on St. Fokker's kit.' Be not compelled to cruelty to its creator, but rejoice at the challenge as then the victory will be all the sweeter. Let thine 'ingenuity' glow like a burning torch light of the watch into the darkness. So the cloak of darkness not smother its guiding light. Old men forget but we not forget we few we happy few, for he that survives this build has shared in it victory. Dispose the empty sprue.

Hi guys - said with a "Tunes" voice (an advert my fellow Brits should remember) - I'm afraid I've caught flu so my tipple is hot lemon and honey... with a good dollop of whiskey... for purely medicinal purposes, of course!

All the best

My preffered cold remedy is a glass of hot whiskey, with a tot of milk in it or something like that. - i'm sure Nurse Betty could dispense that and all porblems would disapear.

Barkeep! Triple shot latte, low foam, sugar free hazelnut... Sorry for the overalls folks have been painting a Spad XIII. Only have a few minutes before the all-girl ground crew's lights out. No rest for the wicked. Slice of pumpkin pie just a dab of whipped cream please. Here is a bit of fun for those of us looking forward to the twightling years.

Perks of being over 55

1. Kidnappers are not very interested in you.

2. In a hostage situation you are likely to be released first.

3. No one expects you to run-----anywhere.

4. People call at 9 PM and ask, " Did I wake you ???? "

5. People no longer view you as a hypochondriac.

6. There is nothing left to learn the hard way.

7. Things you buy now probably won't wear out.

8. You can eat dinner at 5 PM.

9. You can live without sex but not your glasses.

10. You get into heated arguments about pension plans.

11. You no longer think of speed limits as challenge.

12. You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room!

13. You sing along with elevator music.

14. Your eyes won't get much worse.

15. Your investment in health insurance is finally beginning to pay off.

16. Your joints are more accurate meteorologists than the national weather service.

17. Your secrets are safe with your friends because they can't remember them either.

18. Your supply of brain cells is finally down to manageable size.

19. You can't remember who sent you this list

And you notice these are all in Bold Print for your convenience.

Er....?
Well...?
First off...it was very cruel showing pictures of that lovely bottle of 15 year old Laphroaig to a lad stuck in dry Saudi ....sob....

Am I mistaken but we already have a cyber bar??? The old Windsock and pants...well it has many names depending on which section you frequent.

Is this the same bar with a new or alternative name?

Its no problem...I'm usually in a corner...preferably dark...or under a table by closing time.

Cheers all....

Peter

Greetings all;

Just finished adding the the "sack room to the cafe." Its a large bay area where 100 hammocks are strung 5 high. This is for those of you that get a little too tipsy and can't fly home. Also we have hired a manager for the bar and grill. Ladies and gentlemen may I introduce,
