Terri.
I'm pulling up my old rock'in chair to enjoy you build. That's some list of AM you've got there.

Also took notice at how organized your workbench is.

Terri,
And I thought that I was neat and organized, but certainly not compared to you.

BTW, is anyone else have issues logging on? yesterday afternoon was a nightmare. I finally gave up until today.

hi Joel , I guess I got from my child hood . My Dad was that way and if our rooms weren't cleaned right it would get torn apart and one would have to start from scratch .

Yesterday morning I wasn't able to but by the afternoon everything was back up and running .

Spent the weekend so far getting in some airbrushing . All parts the go inside the fuselage have there base coat of colours on and detail painting and PE parts are up next . I did add a bit of wiring here and there in the pit and tail wheel housing .

Yes, Joel, me too. Nowhere, no Kitmaker, no Aeroscale, no nothing. I always had the notice coming up that there was no link to the database. I believe Jim has taken the forum offline for some maintenance. In the evening I could visit the side again.

Have a nice Sunday!

Detailing painting is pretty much done . There will be a few bits here and there , for me there always is ...

I still have the wiring of the batteries to do , this will be done once they have been fixed in place . Now comes the fun part ....adding the devils detail ( PE )

Nice one Terri! Great work so far.

I've got this kit firmly lined up for next year as a welcome relief from my present almost exclusively Luftwaffe-only contract "diet"! (I probably shouldn't say that, but it's true nevertheless - it will be great to let rip on some other stuff! )

I'm still steadily reviewing CMK's upgrades for the kit (there are a lot... ), some of which might yet tie in with what you have planned. I do have a spare set of their rudder/brake pedals, so drop me a line if you'd like them.

All the best

Hi Rowan , I must admit that I haven't build anything with cross's for quite some time . It has been stars and meatballs for the past year . I'm looking forward to when you start your build and your reviews on CMK's new Mustang items . Saw these on Hannants web site for a while now . They do look promising ( now if there was a replacement canopy )

My is perfectly fine , no flaws at all . I grad my kit from Hannants last year in December so I lucked out on that one . How is your canopy ?

Work did continue over the week with that detailing . Took some time with the PE parts . 17 just for the instrument panel and I just notice that one of the switches is glued cocked eye .

I did make an error in my sanding of the back seat panel and ended up sanding to much . So this has been fixed . Setting the cushion down a little lower hides the whole thing and it has also been re-enforced on the under side . The seat support rails aren't included in the Baraccuda seat . An easy fix with plastic strip . A fair bit more to do before this part is button up , but I'm getting close .

Terri,
I'm really impressed with the level of detail you're adding to the "pit". It's going to make quite a difference.

looking forward to your next update.

Terri,
Those details look fantastic. I wish all cockpits could be made to look that good with what came in the box... I hate buying AM, but in larger scales, it looks mandatory...lol

That cockpit looks great, Terri! I especially like the seat with the cushion. A comfort german fighter pilots usually didn't had in those days ....
