The newest re-issues of Eduard's Profipack kits hail the moment many have waited for! Finally Eduard had been able to shake the bonds of having to deal with less than true colors and their "New 4 & 5 color lozenge " is almost perfect for factory fresh colors.

Eduard's "New 4 & 5 color lozenge " is almost perfect for factory fresh colors. The minute difference would be hard to judge Eduard is to be congratulated for being willing to work so hard at finally getting these colors correct.

I hate to tell them the interior lozenge for the Fok. E.V needs to be reversed. . .

Hi Stephen,
Good news.

I notice that on DVIII box there is a yellow and black version would you be able to post the painting guide for this one please.Per my DVIII I'm looking for an alternative to kit one as at the decals are knackered and this would be perfect.

Many thanks

Chris

Yes the Hypothetical scheme of Theo Osterkamp. The wing should be the 4 color streaked variant.

Also the elevators should each have 2 black bars upper and lower surface.

Hi Jessie

That really would warrant some exclamation marks - but, sadly, I doubt it. The addition of a small sprue with a corrected set of struts would great and Eduard haven't been shy of biting the proverbial bullet to do corrections when needed - witness their total overhauls of the Bf 109G and the new Fw 190 radial-engined series. I guess it's all down to economics - and German WW2 fighter kits sell more, so they warrant the expense of correcting them...

But that's straying way off topic! LOL!

Going by my recent experiences with Eduard decals, just in terms of quality, these should perform brilliantly - I've had a couple of instances where their in-house decals have snuggled down for a painted-on look beyond what I'd have thought possible.

All the best

Rowan
