Quoted TextQuoted TextIt has been some time since my last visit on your build , making wonderful progress on her . Awesome job on the decals and the rest of the build , in whole ...Super !
So glad you had time to stop by for a look, and like what you see. Progress in baby steps has been my middle name of late, but sooner or later I'll cross that finish line
Then my 1st race car in nearly 10 years. It's going to be the Fujimi 1/24 scale Porsche 917K Long Tail Martini winner of the 1971 12 hrs of Sebring. my memory is a little blurry about if I was at that race or the 1970 one. It's been a really long time.
Cool , a 917k ! I have one in the stash as well . It's not a fuijimi kit . It's by a company called Union Model company in Japan . Never heard of them , but I love Porsche . My Uncle in Germany used to work for them and was driving a new one every year . The decals are shot though . The kit is from the 70's i think .
Will be looking forward on your build Joel
You're a girl after my own heart. I really doesn't surprise me that you're a model gearhead, and most likely love the 1 to 1 sports/race cars.
I've never heard of that company before, but if the kit is up to your standards, you can get decals for the 3 different Martini 917K Long Tail cars for 1971 from Indy Cals. His decals are great, and very inexpensive.
