Iain
Camo paint scheme and chipping came out very nice. The decals are bringing her to life.

So the gunsight was finally done, 1 resin piece, 1 photoetch piece, and 1 film piece. The film looks like normal overhead transparencies, with black borders printed around the clear area the needs to be cut out. It was quite small and I couldn't cut all the border off while still being able to hold the piece.

That was mounted on the instrument panel before the windshield went on

Also remembered to paint the seatbelts

Added the finale details and some touch up painting to the cockpit

Here you can see the detail that is still visible through the wheel wells...

There will now be a hiatus while I take a break to work on other kits and figure out how to improve the things I didn't quite get right with this kit, before I finish up the CA-13.

I wouldn't class it as difficult but there is quite a bit of work and care required to get the kit finished.
There are also a few things that just aren't right detail wise, especially in the cockpit.

However, overall this is a nice looking kit once complete, and it looks good sitting next to my Aussie spitfires.

Nice work Iain! These short run kits are never easy and require the modeller to often work outside their comfort zone. But they more than any other kit enable us to hone our skills and you've done a smashing job on these two so far.
