I just started this last month and am almost ready to paint. I am using aftermarket decals, Eagle Cals, for Eric Hartmann's Bf 109 G-6 yellow 1, wrk no. 166221.I had a fellow modeler donate an Erla canopy as the kit comes with the earl style.---John

Hi John

Nice start. You've got some good detail there in the cockpit.

I remember this kit fondly from when it first came out (oops! showing my age there...). That colour scheme should look great.

All the best

Rowan

Thanks and don't be afraid of your age, I remember the old Hawk
1/48 U-2. Not to mention my first Me 109, the good old Monogram 1/48 kit molded in shiny dark green and black plastic.---John
