There's a coastal freighter called Uchuck III which travels the inlets of the West coast of Vancouver Island. 3 times a year they do a 3 day "cruise" of some of the more remote little towns in Nootka and Kyuquot Sounds. I gave my camera a workout.

Jessica,
Beautiful photos of an amazing landscape and wildlife. Would love to visit Canada but it's not cheap to travel from Europe especially when you have 3 children

Thanks for sharing

Beautiful pictures. I remember those small cute beavers from my visit there.

Beautiful country.

Not beavers.

Beautiful landscape, fantastic photos! Thanks for sharing, Jessie! 20 years ago (ooops, 20 years ago?? ) I visited Canada but on the atlantic side (Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, P.E.I. and Nova Scotia) so I've seen a bit of your country.
Btw, I've travelled also by ship this summer but mine is slightly bigger ....

It's not the size of the ship that's important, it's what you can do with it

And about Canada? We're somewhat understated about it.

Amazing photos. I like the bear especially.

We were thinking of going on holiday to Canada in 2018. Want to go somewhere different with spectacular scenery while we still can. Direct flights from Birmingham International are very cheap.
