Want!

Any chances this will likely be a future collectors item? I'm thinking of getting 2. One to build and another to stash away.

I wonder if it comes with extra parts for the #2 and 3 engines to show them after that little adventure in Chile?

Jessie, Please do tell.

"Ed Force One was tethered to a tow truck to be taken for refuelling prior to flying over the Andes to Cordoba for the next show," Iron Maiden said in the post. "On moving the steering pin that is part of the mechanism that connects the ground tug to the aircraft seemingly fell out. On making a turn the aircraft had no steering and collided with the ground tug badly damaging the undercarriage, two of the aircrafts engines and injuring two ground tug operators, both of whom have been taken to hospital.".
This followed with an incredible feat of getting the aircraft back into action by having new engines flown out from Luxembourg, with an additional stop in England for other parts.
Technicians were flown there from Iceland and from Atlanta Air’s base in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, six in total, to join with EF1’s own two onboard techs.

Yes, it squashed the tug (and unfortunately the drivers) because a 747 is pretty heavy metal...

I wonder if they will do a boxing of Bruce's Fokker Dr.1 next?

How'd I miss this? Oh yeah, I was out driving around the country! Anyways, UPDATE: Looks like Revell has given it a product code on there website, no price, it was released in November per the website.

Here's the link:

Btw, during the tour you could track the plane via Flightradar24.com. The plane was leased though Icelandic Air for the tour.

See ya in the funnies...........

Although beeing a Maiden fan 2/3 of my life, mad about 144 and love the look of 747, I don't think I am impresed much. This one couldn't reach the glamour of the previous EF1 (757) graphics design wise. I want my Powerslave back on the tail, please.

It is still better than Bruce himself saying "This is the biggest fan in my fan club" standing inside a wind tunnel in one of the episodes of Flying Heavy Metal.
