Well, 20 finishers! Not bad at all!

Happy new year to all and this campaign will now sign off. Ribbons have been awarded so if you didn't get one and think you should have, let me know.

Congrats to all who finished and see you in the next one!

Jan, Richard & Mr.K :
You all did really nice jobs while touching the finish line!
For sure I love the Phantom even in it's pale colours .
Very well done "Sacred Cow" with a beautiful paint and the Mil-4 looks cool and came out great!
Congrats to all participants, finished or not (sorry for the issues forced someone to resign). Very nice campaign with sooo many wonderful kits and enthusiastic work. Hard to pick out and mention a single one - all well and truly great!!!

Great builds here!, I call mine done

I think i had it for almost 25 years in the stash, naturally this kit is not up to nowadays standartd.

Easy build bud it needed some putty

At some time i lost the seats so i bought aftermarket ejection seats,.. not for this kit but for the donor Fujimi kit

When masked i used 2 only colors Tamiya and coated it with floor polish

Decals on with some Vallejo weathering and voila

A nice end of this year, Happy New year!

Sorry guys I have to pull out of this campaign. Michael kindly extended this campaign, I had hand surgery in November and I still do not have full use of it yet. Family issues have also taken me away from the workbench. I have not made a lot of progress to my Revell 1:48 Phantom F4 so hopefully will park it and be able to use it in another campaign?

Humble apologies and thanks for a great campaign. Some fantastic work and examples to give me some great ideas and hints.
Brian

No worries Brian, it happens to all of us at one time or another. Feel better soon and get back to that work bench!

I got a bit more ahead of myself than I wanted. Here's Hasegawa's 1/32 F4B-4 started yesterday. Have installed Lone Star Models cockpit sidewalls and have replaced his floor with sheet plastic as it was a little whoppered. I will also be using Vector's engine/cowl.

e-Man,

The Ausf D came out really nice.
I have never seen one before and I like how the Cupola and the Mantlet look, great job.

I think I bit off more than I could chew with such a large and complex kit. And not one I want to rush either!
Real life also intervened just when things were going smoothly and held me up (leaky showers, building a fitted wardrobe etc).
I'll continue the Rumpler build in a build log over in the early aircraft forum.

Thanks for understanding and I'll keep checking back to see how everyone's builds look when complete.

No problem at all Stephen, I think we all fully understand. On the other hand, there's always The Canvas Falcons III Campaign which is open to in progress builds and runs till next November. Check it out!

Michael

I have been thinking about what to enter for that campaign, maybe I'll enter the Rumpler into it.
I was thinking of building Rodens 1/32 Albatros D.III and completing it ad Von R's all red machine.
