I am doing a conversion of the Monogram Blue Thunder, I am going to make it an over the top attack chopper. I did a Blue Thunder years ago so did not want to do it again. This is the cockpit so far.

i got in a little bit of a hurry and put the IP under a light bulb to dry the oil wash and it melted so I made a new one, Oh well sometimes you just make a bad call.

the twin engine conversion is because I am hanging so much junk on the helo it looks like it would not fly. I know the whole thing is a little silly but still wanted to keep it realistic so here is the engine installation.

no it is a resin figure that I have modified a bit, new head and he will have an O2 hose going to the bottle in his arm

well now that the holidays are over I am getting back to the helo and did a little painting today.


kinda thought a german WWII type paint job would look cool so here it is. Need to do a lot of weathering still but am on the down hill run now.
