Hello my friends, this is my first topic at AeroScale. I will present to you my build of an little cat Revell 1/144 scale F-14 D. Start with the wings/no moveble in my case/, cockpit/only decals and some photoetch parts/, horizontal stabilazers removed from upper part of the main fuzelage, to change the angle, opened air brakes:

Hi Chavdar great start on this little bird, looking very good
with all the extra details, why are the burner cans yellow inside ?
Started this year the F-14A in this scale from Revell, this is a very nice kit won t be the last.

Hello Bernd, I've painted burners yellow and orange inside to replicate the burning process of engines, when the plane's hook atach the stopping cabel.

Countinue with the other colors of camo:

Again those little details, I've painted with revell enamels, after long and bouring masking with 3M and Tamiya masking tape.
Hope you like her so far.

Chavdar,
Welcome to Aeroscale, and thank you for sharing with us your F-14D build. These days I can't even see 1/72 scale, yet alone imagine how anyone manages to build in 1/144 scale.

Your build certainly looks clean and well done. And your camo paint scheme is the equal of many I've seen in much larger scales. The pre-shading does indeed look rather convincing.

Nice start to the detail painting on the loads out.

looking forward to your next update.

Hello guys,
after few coats of tamiya gloss clear I add all decals of this little cat. For applying used microsol decal solutions

Comming : one or two coats of gloss clear, two coats of matt varnish and start with filtering, chipping add dirt in panels and so on and so on

Your decaling looks really quite good. Clean, and neat, with no flash or silvering.

How those of you modeling in 1/144 scale can see anything is beyond me.

It's just a question of optics and good light

I can't do anything without 3.5X optics, and I have the 5x handy

looks great

I didn't believe the orange "flame on" look inside the engines could work when you posted it earlier, but I like it now on the finished model.
