Afraid to say I never finished as I'd had a lot on the last couple of months. I may have to enter the Mossie into this years hanger queens campaign.
Great to see some awesome builds completed.

Well folks, today is the end of Hangar Queen IV. Some great models rescued from shelves of doom out there. But, if you STILL haven't managed to finish, or if your stack contains even more Queens, fear not! Hangar Queen V starts tomorrow!

See you there!

Technically this campaign closes today. Anyone interested in taking on Hangar Queen V?

Michael

Looking good there Rob, Those Esci F-4 are sweet I,m just now finishing the navy version right now, and I too had to use a shim in front of the wing. The only place that needed help. Cant wait to see this one fly over the finish line. rick

Put a second coat of both colors on, I thinned the paint too much the first time so took some thinner out.

I finished a hanger queen. This was my entry in the "Smurf Scale" campaign last winter, so it hasnt gathered that much dust really.

two foot rule on this one, all the usual A-model challenges and a few errors I have no intention of fixing. Anyway, it's a handsome little model of a favorite aircraft and will fit nicely into my model world.

Some progress,

I had just about finished with the fuse when I discoverer that I had lost the piece that goes behind the rear canopy luckily I had an extra in a Hasegawa kit so with a little work I got that fixed. I have quite a few F4 kits so I have made some copies of parts to fix some of them, the area behind the rear IP and the throttle that is missing in most kits, I think that came from my Academy kit. Finally I temporarily glued on the masked canopy for painting.

Cheers Rob.
