Revell have released a large scale kit of the Westland Sea Lynx Mk.88 as used by the German Navy at an amazing price.

Hi Warren

Nice job on your first review!

And only £20 for a largescale helo kit with this sort of detail!?... I think I might just have to get one...

All the best

Hi Warren. Thanks for the review, I've seen pics of the kit over on Britmodeller (plus walkround pics) and for 20 Quid there certainly is a box full of parts. Not the same level of detail as the Airfix 48th scale kit but non the less, very good. The HAS Mk3 RN cab should be ready for release in the New Year, now that's got my interest.

I bought the 1/32 Mk.88A helo as well, but haven't put it together.

One thing that bothers me is that they molded it in white plastic - why not a gray color like other offerings from Revell. Leave the white plastic to the car kits...

Also, where are the depth charges for this kit? There's decals for them but no depth charges....
