Modellers wishing to pose their T-33's canopy open should be advised that there is a large bridge structure and hydraulic ram between the cockpits as seen here. It appears to form the bottom of the D-shaped internal frame Rowan mentions in the review. If you want the cockpit open, you'll have to do a little surgery to that frame, uness of course your aircraft was one of those equipped with the full frame.

Or if Platz' promised update set includes an open canopy option...

Hi Jessie

There are some useful shots of the extra internal canopy frame among the photos on Cloud 9 Photography. As you say, anyone wishing to pose the canopy open will need to add the ram.
