This model is exactly the same as the Eastern Express An-14, which I am working on at the moment. It is the first model I have made in twenty years, and I thought it would be simple. How wrong I have been, as it is so small, things are just so much more difficult to do. I am also using new techniques such as airbrushing which I have never done before. So it has been a steep learning curve. Some of the small pieces are obviously out of scale, and you do have to make two parts, braces to run between the wing and the supports. I would say this is a testing model to make, primarily due to its very small size. Having said that, having learnt from my mistakes, I think I can afford to make another.

Hello Rob, welcome to Aeroscale, and welcome to 1/144th scale modeling. 1/144 scale has a special home in this forum, have a look-

144 is challenging as you say, and A-model kits are always challenging in their own way as well.
