Here's a look at Pheon Models' first volume of decals for spectacular Albatros schemes designed for the Eduard (and Revell) quarterscale kits.

Hi again

Watch out for reviews of Vol. 2 in 1:48 and Pheon's 1:72 collection to follow in the next few days. Once these and 1:32 reviews are out of the way I'll send the decals for individual schemes to as many folks as want to join in a Pheon Albatros group build.

So, start making a note of any schemes you particularly want to tackle.

All the best

Oh, this sounds interesting, I have Pheons sheet of Lt Wolf and a WNW Albatros in the stash... Just looking for an excuse...

If I'm reading this right my stashed WNW DV and DVa along with Pheon's 1/32 Vol 1 Sheet qualify. If so the SE5 I was leaning towards for the next build could go on hold; I'd be in for this GB for sure.

Cheers,
Lance

Hi again

Well, I'm going to go a bit crazy and try to enter both the 1:32 WNW and 1:48 Revell kits! It's years since I built the Eduard version and I want to try to correct the undercarriage this time.

But, of course, I've got to get all the reviews posted first. Then I can offer decals to anyone who wants to join in - the more the merrier.

All the best

Rowan,
I await the official invitation with much anticipation. I really don't think you'll have any trouble getting participants; it's a great theme for a GB IMHO.

Cheers!

Mikael,
Which sheet and which Wolf are you referring to? Just curious, I did a quick search and could not locate it.

Cheers,

Hi Lance,

Sorry for late reply – lots on my plate at the moment...

Pheon did two sparate sheets for WNW Albatros, that were a bit more comprehensive – therefore only one profile/sheet. One was of Fritz Rumeys "The devil" of Jasta 5, and one was of Ltn Wolfs OTT Bavarian Ompahh, ompahh scheme – also Jasta 5. I think Friz Rumeys sheet is all sold out, but you can probably get Lt Wolfs if you look over at Pheons trade place at britmodeler.co.uk linky

Here's a link to Lt Wolfs Albatros in progress as well: linky

(Sorry for the links outside of this site, but I don't want to infringe any copyright issues.

Best Regards

Mikael
