Special hobby of MPM productions has released their newest WWI aviation kit. Filling a serious gap in the French single seat fighters category. The high wing monoplane Morane Saulnier A.I was one of the most powerful rotary powered, production fighter aircraft of the World War I. It was used by Belgian, France, Polish, Swiss and Japanese air forces. Its main short coming was the tendancy for the wing to fail in combat manoevers.

Hi Stephen

A very helpful review. Are there easy to find (kit) sources for suitable replacement propellers?

All the best

Martin Digmayer does do scale propellers for model WWI kits. They use to be available from Copper State Models. It takes about 6 weeks to get an order.

I am resourcing extra propellers from other kits. As soon as I have a good match I'll post it here.

Stephen,

I found that the propeller included with Roden's 1/48 Nieuport 28 is a perfect replacement.

Cheers,

Claudio

Looks like MPM is bringing out another Special Hobby Morans AI issue. Though it contains only about 57 parts it may be the decal series is limited to about 500 kits.
