Can one get a good representative TIGER 1 tank early production version from the academy 1/35 scale kit 13861 ? is this an accurate for what concerns the early version tank itself?
Thanks!

Hey Stefano,
The Academy early Tiger with the MiniArt figures is not a bad kit but it does have some accuracy problems.
Number one problem is the cupola is located in the wrong place on the turret roof.
The original version with an interior has some definite dimensional accuracy problems with the interior parts.
Here are a couple of reviews of the original kits:
Track-Link Review
Missing-Lynx Review
Modeling Madness Review
Despite it's problems, with a bit of TLC and AM parts, it still can be built up as a reasonably nice build.
Cheers

jjumbo
