What kind of 1/16th scale figures are you looking for? Resin or plastic? What era or nationality?

miniart makes some spartans, romans, french musketers and a few others. I have the spartan figures, same figure with different arms to make 3 different poses. The feet look bad but the rest seems pretty good. Verlindin and dragon make some too. |

Why didn't anybody mention Dragon's 1:16 figures yet? They have all kinds of WWII figures and I think there's even one modern soldier. |

I am basically looking for ww2 1/16 figures. I saw the alpine miniatures and they are the best i have seen. Does anyone else make them that are comparable? |

Few figures are comparable to Alpine, but their 1/16 scale range is not as extensive as their 1/35 scale range - no reflection on Alpine, but rather on the demands of the market. Are you making a general query or are you looking for something specific? You're still being rather coy, but I gather you're looking particularly for resin figures and not plastic. |

I am definitely looking towards resin, they seem to have more detail. |

I have the Alpine US Paratrooper, and it is outstanding, both in terms of detail, and originality of its pose. The resin is clean, presenting a great surface to paint, and it builds up beautifully. It's the only large scale figure I've made; it was an impulse buy - when I saw it released I just had to get it! hth

| I see a red door and I want it painted dark olive, dry brushed in sand and add some etched brass while you're at it, please. Failing that, paint it black... | | |

Verlinden makes some nice 120mm/1/16th scale German figures also.
Do a search on Ebay for 120mm german, just did and got 94 results.
