hey guys, fairly new to scale model building and completely new to building diorama's. since i did some scale modelling as a kid and having some spare time i decided to give this old hobby of mine a go again. but this time i wanted to be perfect so i came across this site and found some cool ideas for diorama's. now a month further the first results are there so i wanted to know what u think of this little diorama. remember it's still under construction and that i have no knowledge what so ever about painting these things. i tried some stuff out i found here on your forum's like filters and washes. so any tips or help to improve the quality of my diorama are welcome. the underground surface is still need to be painted as well for the mountains and the hide out. |

Jonas,
please show us more pictures, overall pictures, we hardly can see what your dio actually is.
Also you should tell what you intended to make.
For now it is difficult to advise you with anything.
Thanks Claude |

It's hard to tell without better pictures really. the landscape is a bit bleak and the colour is a bit off for a desert scene; it looks more like fresh mud. the groundwork texture is pretty good though and at least you got some height interesting contours in there, so i'd say it's not a bad first attempt at all |
Current builds;
