OK hands up all those that'll be watching James May's Toy Stories on Tuesday? The first episode James will be building a 1:1 scale plastic Spitfire. Now that maybe worth a watch. |

excellent! I loved the episode in a previous series about model railways. He bought a "collectable" to play with. And asked "do you have a bin?" to chuck the box into priceless. This should be almost as good TV as watching Nick Griffin squirm on "Question Time" |

I doubt that the IPMS committee will have thought of the potential of the advertising for the IPMS if James May were to attend SMW, so I have just asked, via the BBC if he is aware of the show. I wasn't able to do more as I had a limited number of characters to play with. Hopefully he will contact me, you never know |

I though this was really good. Great to see some youngsters building models.

the best part for me was the lad who didn't want his tank blown up, i thought "good on you" from someone who NEVER EVER deliberatley destroyed a kit as a kid. |
