Hello amorama friends!

I'm in the painting stage of a late Tiger II. On my reference pictures I can't see any markings what so ever, no black crosses or anything. So my question is if the Tigers didn't recieve any marking in 1945?

It depends on the unit in question.

For inspiration you can see the after-market decal sheets from different manufacturers.
Check the colour profiles on the provided links.

There are some as well in the Bison set but they are among other sets and not exclusevly for King Tigers.

Hope this helps.

Depends on the battalion. The handful of tanks issued to the 507th and 511th in the Ruhr Pocket in March, 1945 generally didn't get marked. Tanks issued to other battalions in January and February (i.e., the Army 509th, SS503rd, replacements to the Army 503rd) were marked as usual.
