Hi all, new to the forums, not so new around a paintbrush.
Have just moved from Tas to Gippsland, Vic, and am wondering where all you gentlemen get your figure sculpting supplies?
Things like colour shapers, putties (air & polymer stuff)
Some I can get from the local spot light store (meagre, but there) some I can get from the local GW store (many tools need a bit of polishing to come up to snuff) as well as the occasional bit of mail order too.
Just trying to keep the local guys cashed up with local dollars, before heading off shore.
cheers
Jamie

Hi Jamie! I was talking to Murray Burfitt today, he brought some of his inventory down to the Western Australian Scale Model Expo. Check out his store : www.burfitt.com.au I think he will be there tomorrow so if you would like me to grab some sculpting tools for you, let me know. He had a box full of discounted dental tools, tweezers $5 each item. Chas |

G'day Chas! on Planet Figure, I've started a similar thread to some on here (I can recognise a good idea when I see one) so if it's ok with you, I'll duplicate some of the work over there, with credit to you I'll add Burfitts to the pF thread. Like the look of some of the dental pick and arrow head scaler. If you can grab me one of each, that would be great! Shoot me a pm so I can reimburse you and arrange postage. Cheers |

Shane, thanks for that, had a quick browse, looks good. We may have to have a thread for online suppliers, for OZ & Kiwi land. Cheers Jamie |

A couple of places I've dealt with:- http://www.armsmodelit.com.au a small home run operation in QLD. They are one of the few places to stock magic sculpt. They also have a good range of tools. http://www.barnesonline.com.au Bigger place which is good for all the resins and RTV products. Good stock but not as personal as the previous link. |
