Signed up. My wife bought me the Academy M1A1 Iraq 2003 kit for my birthday. I will be building it OOB. I recently purchased the Dragon M1A1 AIM with the 760+ pieces. I need to practice and improve my skills before I attempt that monster. Tony |

Jeremy can I enter into this with the towing M1A2 I need to build for my stalled diorama? It has not been started and I have stalled because I have run out of Ideas on how to build the full width mine plow on the damaged M1A2. |

Campaign starts today right? I openned the box of my kit last night and read the instructions. Looking forward to making the kit. I am thinking about taking a different approach with it than I have my few builds in the past. Tony PS Halloween is only 16 days away! |

Hmm. Kind of in a gray area. The campaign has not been officially approved. If you go to the Campaign page, you won't see this campaign listed. It might be considered unfair for people who haven't seen the campaign officially listed. I suppose it might be up to the campaign leader to decide to go ahead and start or wait for an official start date (which might be later). |

Is this a campaign or a build? Is it official as of yet, haven't seen a lot of interest in it. |

Either way, you can count me in on it. I am currently building Dragon's M1A2 Sep and I will be adding the Tusk Conversion set from Legends.. Luckily I have just barely done the lower hull. I will also be adding Verlindens Tankers to the kit as well. |

Hi Guys,
I'm nearly finished building Dragons AIM. Taken best part of 2 yrs due to job redundancy & family commitments. I would like to put it in an Iraq diorama with 4 figures. Is this allowed? There are no other vehicles involved.
On the bench : Mr Abrams, Centauro (very early stages), Aussie Centurion, Tamiya LeClerc
On the bench wishlist : Lav 25, 1973 Shot Kal Centurion.
Those who are about to glue & paint salute you..... |

Actually you aren't supposed to start a kit until the campaign kicks off. The decision is up to the campaign leader though. Some have let people in who have started only a bit or are completing a kit that they bought partially built. |

As you guys have enough people and Tonyfr has started already (ahem), your campaign is not only approved but started already. I've made this thread the official one but if you want another just create then PM me to switch them. The campaign leader also might want to extend the campaign to accommodate those who have been caught off-balance by the quick start of this campaign. |

Well guys here we go, We are official now. I have to wait a few weeks to start mine. I am still away from my desk for another week or so. I am still trying to decide which one i want to build. I know it will have the Echelon decals from the Sept 11 Slogans. Just have to pick which plane to use, or maybe will be able to do more than one. We are also going to extend the finish by a few months.
Lets get Building!!!!

I have to say that I have really enjoyed this Dragon kit. The detail has been crisp with minimum flash. Why does Dragon insist on the little things, like the little wire handles that get lost in the carpet! |

The rear deck needs a little work, maybe it was just me but I had some problems getting part # U13, U14 & U16 to fit right. Also I had to do some major trimming/sanding to get W14 to fit right. |

I need some help on the gas caps. Can anyone tell me if I have them positioned right? I like the fender details like the rod that helps hold the skirts up. Dragon sure can pack a kit with detail! |
