Following the sad passing of the owner of PJ's Hobby World, the store has not been restocked and there has been somewhat of a clearance sale going on. On a recent visit I met the new owner who is in the final stages of taking over the store and will be restocking the shelves to the great satisfaction of many Western Suburbs Modellers. The store has an unusual selection of after market including Eduard PE, Verlinden and a heap of decals, lots of books, as well as a good range of kits and some railway gear. The store is at 33 Holmes Rd Moonee Ponds, phone number is 03 9370 8220.

A belated thanks for the update, Damian.

I'm hoping our community forum host picks up this post and updates the VIC hobby shop thread - Chas: you still here mate?

Thanks again Damian

Rudi

Hi Rudi.

The new owner is now well entrenched, several re-lays of the shop and upgrading the lighting going on now. New stock is arriving daily which is quite a handful, but I would recommend a visit to anybody in the area.

Thanks Damian
I knew not of this shop, and am interested in having a look-see next I'm that side of town, especially for the unusual items you mentioned...
Cheers
Brad

I see from another post elsewhere that they have DML Orange Box releases. Obviously the importer added the usual and they are at almost normal DML prices which sort of defeats the purpose of them. The T26 is $40 dearer than the Hobby Boss M26 and $10 dearer than the Tamiya M26.
Sherman M4A4 75mm @$60
Stug III AUSf E & F @$62 ea
JS-1 /JS-2 @ $62
Panther II @ $72
T26E3 Pershing @ $72
Flak Panzer IV " Kugelblitz " @ $62
Pe.KpfW.III AUSf.E/F @ $62
Pz.Beob.Wg.IV AUSf.J @ $72
Cheers
Al
