Hi all! Seems I have the honour being first to post. Here´s E-25 so far: I added front extra-armor to lower front hull using styrene and boltheads from the other, rear upper hull plate. Extra track links on front are gonna be some additional etxra-armor too. Here´s the rear. No radical changes, I´m gonna use those Voyager PE parts for tools, which I can assemble.... View from above. I had difficulties to deside, which roof part to use but I think this one it´s gonna be. Track links on roof are most likely another extra-armor for hull. Location is not final. All comments are welcome. |

Yep! Can´t believe it my self too. I have exceeded my limits. To be honest, there´s not much scratchbuild at all, just some selfmade handles. Tracks caused the most of pain for me... |

BOBCAT II, RCAF Regiment. Well, this one is actually done, since I thought we started about 2 months back! Here's what it began life as, an Italeri LAV 8x8 cut doen to a 6x6 hull. |

Kimmo-casualmodeler-
E-25 looks good! I like the supplemental armor on the lower front hull- I just think you should carry it up onto the upper front as well.
And I would use the MG turret on the roof as well....
But Hey! If the fit of both roof panels is good you could paint/weather both and interchange them whenever you like.
Good to see some stuff getting posted on this!
Greame -stormfront-
OK you owned up to your mistake- now lets see the progress! Start on the 6X6 hull looks promising.

Progress on the E100: - wheels build and painted. - Hull details done - suspension done. - Started working on the turret. I'll use a JagdTiger 12,8 metal gun barel for this one
Will try to add some details, some clear parts from the spare boxes might work for the vision ports and also, since this is a "What if" situation, add some Leopard smoke grenade lauchers in the process..

The "What if?" WWII 1948 Centurion is started - no pics yet Lower Hull completed with the wheels - it needs a coat of paint now. Upper Hull 90 % completed. New tracks ordered (AFV) after I melted the 70's era Tamiya Vinyl tracks when I took to them with a hair dryer after priming . Lol ...They're not really melted, they're just REALLY warped !! I have the 120 mm thermal wrapped cheiftain barrel ready for dry fitting, although I may use a LionMarc Chally 2 Barrel instead. "Konigstiger" and E-100 killer anyone ?? I'll probably add the Cheiftain IR equipment to the turret, and perhaps the commanders cupola if I feel the need to carve up the Centurion that way.....I'll think about that one. Cheers Paul |

Thanks, Steve. You know, I spent two days wondering and looking at the E-25 with same idea you said and which roof panel to use. But I started to hesitate, if more additional armour would cause lack of power for tank. Well. let´s see what I come up to. |

Those who want can follow my build log of the E-100 (according to Panzer Tracts - or at least as close as my abilities allow me to): http://www.armorama.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=modules.php?op=modload&name=SquawkBox&file=index&req=viewtopic&topic_id=140482&page=1#1178461 As soon as I've something to look at I'll post it here too. And when I get bored or stuck with the E-100 I might just start working on my E-25 Kügelblitz. John |

Kimmo- even in reality- the late war German armor was up-armored beyond the engines capabilities. This is "What-If" man- GO WILD! Matthew- Nice looking APC! As I was looking at it I was thinking how cool that would look with the bridge treadways the Germans used to carry on their Hanomags. Greame- I love that! You have inspired & raised the bar at the same time! Very, very, much in the same vein as what I am working on- but I can tell already yours will be better. Nice! If this is what this campaign looks like after 14 days- This is going to be fun to watch. Steve |

Some more progress on the E-100. Some troubles fixing the 12,8 cm Metal gun barrel on the mantlet but with some superglue I hope it's fixed. Will work on the infra-red system and finish the weathering on the wheels |

Well I suppose it is time to make a start. Got the gun barrel made, cleaned up and started assembling the suspension. It is going to be while detaching and assembling the tracks though. Here is what I have so far: |

Good work Scotty ! What base kit are you using ? I've started kit bashing my turret. I have the Tamiya Cheiftain Mk V Commanders Cuppola fitted (lots of chopping, filing, and puttying there), and the Large Chieftain IR spot light fitted to the LH side of the Turret (a fair bit of Styrene and Putty involved there also). The next step is to fix the texture and gaps with some Mr Surfacer (when it arrives), and add the other bits and pieces to the turret (eg: Commanders IR light, Tasca 50 cal, smoke grenades, and the other bits and pieces). The Chieftain Gun fits Ok - but I'll try the Chally 2 one when the post man delivers it !. I won't be using reactive armor on mine - maybe a few extra tracks, that's it. Cheers Paul |

Hi gents, a quick question since the rules don't expressly say one way or the other. Would a ship fit into this campaign? I have the German battleship Gneisenau that I have been itching to upgun and mod a bit. |

Have enlisted the Trumpeter E100. Left out the IR gear and will just build it as OOB. Plan to paint it as Olivgrun+Dunkelgelb. Have added some weld spots on the track hangers and started to prime. Some progress pics. Cheers |

Hey all, looking good tat, I'd love to see your maus turret work. i found a pic of a "knocked out" maus but it is in doubt that it was destroyed by anti tank weapons, most likely destroyed by its crew but still a unique shot of the turret resting on the destroyed vehicle Its offical im going to call it GrenadierSturmwagen, or GreSt for short as the other name implied it was for assualt infantry only. this is my WIP GreSt ausf B at the outskirts of Dresden's farming fields. I will post more later, none of the interior is complete the paint is only to help distinguish the diffrent parts of the vehicle. still to go are: Drivers controls + vison block Rear AA mg42 mount Flak 38 controls and caseing* pouch (* Im sure thats spelt wrong but "vista Word" begs to differ) driver (almost complete will post with new pics) Cheers, Mat |
