Here I go again! After a bit of rest I've begun my latest project- hope you're ready for another long adventure. We'll be adding some Aires resin- haven't done that yet- and we'll be meeting some interesting new characters, too. I'd like to detail an engine- if anyone would be willing to sell me part of their Aires engine set, that is. The cowlings are just too pretty to leave both off! Contact me via email if you can help- and thanks!

While not big on wingy things, two things draw me to this build...

One, the Me 410 is teh awesome, and...

Two, that last epic build of the Helldiver had me enthralled

Vorwarts, kleine Chuck, vorwarts!

Hi Chuck

very nice start ... I am really looking forward to your build (I have one of those in the stack and one day I will have to do it. ... hope to get some motivation from your build.

BTW the u/c doors are almost always closed on the ground, do you think the use of the Aires set is necessary or advisable?

all the best

And up pops Chuk again. Time to learn! But, I fear that die schöne fräulein might make some of us a bit crosseyed. Girls with tools . . . oh man!

It's like reading a good and fully detailed comic!

Isn't Accurate Miniatures supposed to release model of this plane? Or is it just some ghost hanging in lists from year to year

Excellent, about time too !!

Whilst the fraulein is easy on the eye, I fear she is only a distraction from that shady looking chap hiding behind the tailunit.

Bring it on Sir, bring it on.

Sweet! Chuck is back. And you've picked a real stunner of a kit too. Only thing is. I'm a little nervous of that shady looking character in the back. He has shifty eyes I tell you! SHIFTY!!

I'm gonna enjoy this.

I must admit, I am more excited about your accompanying artwork more than the build itself.

Yep, I too have been looking forward to this as I have one in the stash along with the Aires cockpit set.

Chuk, if you would like to use masks on this just give me a shout. I am hoping to be moving soon and if I do it could be some time before I'm set up again, but I will do the masks if I can.

Thanks, everyone- I'll do my level best not to disappoint! Steffen, Helldivers didn't sit around with their dive brakes open, but did that stop me? I'll just have a mechanics looking up into one making a quick check on the plumbing, is all. Terri, you can sit my cowling anytime- rrrrawrr! ;D That's a very kind offer, Mal- and of course I'll take you up on it! I've got perfect documentation on U5 + FE, so we're good ther- and there'll be plenty of time before I get to that point in construction.

Again, thanks, my friends- and stay tuned!

You are doing Abrahamcziks plane .. that is coll. Did one myself many moons ago:

http://www.ipmsdeutschland.de/Flugzeuge/Arndt/WK2/Abrahamczik.html

of course yours will be much better. i added Flammenvernichter from a Ju-88 kit and I liked the fuel tanks I saw in a pic (sqn IIRC) ... thought they were a logical choice for the night intruder missions flown by 14./KG 2

cheers
